So far recipient of 8 Czech research grants, 2 collaborative grants of the Austrian program Ost-West, 1 collaborative grant of the EU program PECO 92, 1 grant of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, 1 grant of The Wellcome Trust, 2 grants of EC.
1987 – present: semestral courses „Molecular immunology“ and “Immunology” (Faculty of Sciences, Charles University. Author of two textbooks for these courses. So far supervisor of 13 PhD students (12 of them already defended PhD Thesis) and 10 undergraduate students.
Author and co-author of >180 research communications published in international journals, 29 chapters in monographs, 20 review articles and three books. Chairmanship of sections at 12 international conferences, 11 invited lectures at international conferences, over 35 invited seminars at Universities and Institutes abroad.
These publications received according to the ISI Web of Knowledge data so far over 11.000 citations, the Hirsch index of V.H. is currently 57.
